About the Gulf State Insurance Information Center

The Gulf State Insurance Information Center (GSIIC) is a project sponsored by property and casualty insurers to provide Louisiana consumers, the media, and public policymakers with accurate and useful information on auto, homeowners and business insurance.  

Mission Statement

The Gulf State Insurance Information Center will conduct public education campaigns to explain property casualty insurance practices, correct mistakes and distortions in the public record, and work to promote and protect the viability of a competitive private insurance market for the benefit of Louisiana consumers and insurers.
